This demo released in 2005 is already the Fourth of the Italian old-school/brutal death metal combo Exsecrator. "Vehemence Of Human Displeasure" was re-released later the same year in a split album with the Polish death metal band Soulless. As usual, three songs and nine minutes is not really enough to get a thorough overview of what the band have to share, but for once it allows to have a good idea of their genre and capabilities. Exsecrator play a mix - rather usual nowadays - of old-school death metal and modern brutal death. The pace is mostly very fast, with intense drumming and hyper low growls, in the vein of old Nile. The mid-paced, darker and more melodic passages (above all in the intros) remind a lot of first era Morbid Angel, while the solos are clearly inspired by bands such as Pestilence. Read more ›› |
