Sweet! Looking forward! They already have a song called "Der Sturm", is this a new version or what?

Yeah! Its an extended version with Robse doing vocals! Here's what they said on Facebook!

" "Waldschrein" encompasses the brand-new title track and an acoustic version of the same song plus a re-recorded and extended version of 'Der Sturm´ from "Turis Fratyr" (originally sung by ex-vocalist Helge Stange, now by front man Robse Dahn). Moreover, it contains 'Zwergenhammer´- a previously unreleased older song - as well as an amazing cover version of famous video game "Skyrim"'s opening theme."

I had no idea the Skyrim theme was on here and I peed when I heard it
not really but I was really excited

The Skyrim song just won't come out of my head. And the heavy section in Der Sturm. And the intro title track...

Can't wait to see what the new album in 2014 brings!

Wow that title track gave me shivers. Really brings me back to Sagas. Hell yes!!

It's not great but it is good. It's saved by the title track, which is super awesome. In style it's similar to Rekreatur but at the same time has elements from Sagas. I'd say it's one of their best songs since Sagas indeed.
The unreleased Zwergenhammer, well let's face it - if they felt a song wasn't good enough to put on an album in the past - why would it be now?
Of course it's not bad, some very cool guitar parts but nothing special either. It doesn't have that modern Equilibrium production to go with it, mostly just synth backing chords and not much going on.
The overall production of the EP is really solid. If they've got a bunch of songs with the quality of Waldschrein, I think there's a lot to look forward to for the new full album!
