Though Solstice technically returned from their brief absence back in 2005, this new EP is the first release of their reunion and the first since their 2001 split with Slough Feg. Now armed with a new bassist, guitarist, and singer, Solstice have released a powerful comeback that sounds almost as though they had never left.

Wild guess that this is the same cover artist as Dream Death's one last year.

Yep, Chris SMith of Grey Aria Studio did both. Just checked it on both releases at home.

It must be nice owning so many albums. People like me have to assume the information we find online is accurate - you pretty much have an encyclopedia of metal on your shelves to read from.

Weird, why does it have as release date Febraury 10?

Both the vinyl version and the cassette one have been released more than a month ago and the cd version has yet to be released.

I ran across this apparent discrepancy just now, and was actually planning on PM'ing you about it, but since you've brought it up here...

Their Bandcamp shows October 18, 2013 for release. Sound about right to you?

Yeah that should be the right date. Remember it was out around Dutch Doom Days 2013
