It's like Tool meets doom. Very similar vocal approach and haunting progressions, just a bit heavier and grittier. Tool for people who are embarrassed to like Tool. Or people like me who like Tool.

Written by flightoficarus on 05.02.2015 at 16:39 I can see a bit of Tool (or at least Keenan) in the clean vocals, but aside from that it sounds relatively typical atmos-sludge/post-metal to me, not sure I noticed much Tool or doom in (aside from doom's contributions to sludge, and sludge's contributions to post-). However, it is good post-, and a promising first release from the band.
