UADA exists, so Mgla might as well not.

I find it strange that you enjoy UADA with this much disdain for Mgla, they're very similar IMO. Mgla has better guitar tone/atmosphere IMO. Weird coincidence too as I am just about finished my first play through of "Cult Of A Dying Sun".

Uada wouldn't exist, had it not been for Mgla. Nothing wrong with Uada (apart from the fact that they are hipster wimps), but it's like saying that Barren Earth exists, so Opeth might as well not.

Seen Uada a couple of times live, and my God are they boring and like Nikarg said "hipster wimps" Mgla is so much more riveting both live and on album.

The important thing is Mgla doesn't need to exist because UADA are better, folks. With it, you need to deal.

I don't care about either band.
Somehow later generation Polish BM bands as this, Babuska, Arkona , Cultes Des Ghoules, Plagla and Furuia never cached me. I prefer Iceland in that case
Lux Occulta, Vesania, Blaze Of Perdition, Thy Worshiper, Slavland are diferent story, I prefer Polish BM from mid and late 90's even I hate behemoth whit big passion, but respect narger work and attitude, but love his solo project

This has to be easily the best black metal album in years Imo, it has everything that makes a black metal masterpiece, those quality hypnotic riffs that have alot of melody to them, like the early 90's black metal scene, it has the right blend of heaviness and the right mid tempo pace throughout, and the drumming is very good and consistent, the vocals are nothing special but no real concern, because the album stays consistent and excellent all the way through. This is definitely one of the best black metal bands around right now, and with so much potential.

It never ceases to amaze me how talented songwriters and musicians these guys actually are. Despite being rather simple and straightforward musicwise there really are many interesting things happening here, like the drummer making it sound like he has multiple extra limbs for example, that's some crazy skill right there. But then again there's amazing atmosphere and tensionbuilding, great use of repetition... just all around killer stuff.

Have you listened to “The Tenth Sub Level Of Suicide” by Leviathan? That’s my favourite black metal album of all time.
