Indeed, but that's not what I was disappointed about.

I might be using the wrong term here, but a lot of this album sounds like cheesy post-rock. So...simplistic for their standards. The last track was brilliant and "The Kandinsky Group" had some nice build-ups, but...overall a disappointment.

I was just commenting on the genre tag. But yeah very bland sounding. A few interesting moments here and there but very weak compared to their last album.

Coming to it again, I'm surprised by how actually good this one is, especially considering first contact was pretty meh. Still not Mantiis worthy, but definitely a grower. Better enjoyed with headphones
