Got the album on their yesterday show, strong solid stuff. Not that long as previous releases, but still a pure MB doom style.

Planning to pick it up when I see them Saturday at Eindhoven Metal Meeting.

Btw, the cd is for sale during December 2015. The LP version will be released in January.

The first date the cd could be bought was December 3rd.

Still surprised at opener Godether which starts off almost The Doors like then turns death doom and towards the end turns into an almost blackened death metal monster. That last part might well be Pauric's input seeing as he is more or less the driving force behind Malthusian.

no marcell its all my song... myself and darren developed that song , i had already had the riffs over a year ago, but we raped and chopped the carcass of it when i returned from living in finland.. one of my all time fave songs we wrote...

Wow. Somehow never would have expected that It is indeed an absolute scorcher of a song.

Opener was weird then turned to death/doom, great alubum, band don't changes just are what they are, I like this one

"Godether" might be their best song to date. An incredibly consistent band, always delivering the highest quality output.

My only issue with this album is that Godether is such a monstrous song that the rest of the album sounds a little tame afterwards.

Yep, indeed.

Godether is one helluva song; one of the best I ever heard in any genre. The rest of the album is so-so.

Mature doom. Nice.

Death/Doom done right.

I kindly disagree, The Mantle Tomb is also a monster of a song!

Mourning Beloveth always has the best openers, but Godether... daaaaaaaaamn!

In some way it has a bit different, maybe most DM bands album, more DM, less doom. I had such feeling in begging. I like a lot last song sorta acoustic doom something. Good album, but its not so good as 1th 2 bands albums. We will see how next one will sound.
