I started listening without knowing the name of the people of Ephel Duath and thought they came back from the dead. Seeing the members names I realized that is exactly what it is. The last Ephel Duath album was incredible and unique, but hated by people who couldn't take the changes. This album builds off that with significant changes still. Maybe they will get more respect being labelled as gothic doom than they did as avant-garde.
