How does a cult status band confined to a demo and a few EPs strike powerfully with their first full length album? Holy shit, ladies and gentlemen, Graves At Sea appear to be providing an answer to this philosophical conundrum.

While oppressively heavy and quite abrasive, Graves At Sea manage to remain catchy and subtly melodic at the same time. If doom and sludge are your thing, this album is a must. Even if they aren't, listen anyway.

This is such an awesome album. Stand-out track being 'The Ashes Made Her Beautiful' with its great violin work.

Really solid album. I may end up rating it higher after further listens. During the first song or so I almost wrote it off, but it grew on me quickly and became quite enjoyable. I could do with a BIT more variety, but I really appreciate the mood they crafted and stuck with. It's very specific and hides some cool layers.
