This may sound a little harsh, but I personally don't need any more GTT albums in my life. His discography is already way too overwhelming for me.

I'd much rather he keep collaborating with other artists. N.V. and Dyodyo Asema are so much better than most of what Mories has been doing in his solo projects the past few years

Yeah. I also prefer his little contribution to other projects.

New track streaming. Sounds fucking good and listened to it 5 times already. More electronic and industrial than the last one. The child vocals at the end is the only downside though.
EDIT: Guess it was already revealed here, totally forgot it lol. Anyway, nice song.

Mories last great work under the GTT tag is Per Flagellum Sanguemque * after that it hasn't been very exciting. So I'd rater continue collecting his older stuff. I've heard rumours that De Magia Veterum might be back on track though, that would be amazing.
* = Eschatological Scatology (another brilliant album) is technically an album from 2008 that didn't get released until mcuh after, that's why Per Flagellum is the "last" one according to me.

I'd probably agree with you there. Personally, I've found his recent Aderlating and COA material to be a lot more interesting than that for GTT. GTT seems to be most interesting these days when Mories is collabing in that form with other bands, and like Alex said above, I really hope that trend continues (a collab with The Body would be really nice).

Just checked the two tracks streaming and Silent Burned Atrocities is one of the most stupid songs I've ever heard. Would have rated it 1 if it was a single track.

Normally mz would be too drunk to post anything quite accurate but here I completely agree with him. That sounds even worse than what a 13yr old kid can do with just midi and VSTs. Awful drum sound, lame breaks and no songwriting or riffs at all. Can't understand why he would even keep it in the final cut.

Every track should've been like Frail As The Stalking Lions. That and the 4th track are the only above par ones it seems.
Sad that he had a really great sound going on the last ep which was really really electronic-y and fun. Could've been more like that too but this one with the weird sampled acoustic drum kits and fast paced songs sound kinda not very great. This new sound is only good for slow tracks like the ones I mentioned above.

I would definitely agree, I also prefer the dronier, noisey side of GTT myself. I think it's overall what the project is really about more than the black metal. But a balance really has to be struck to the point of embracing that slower sound while still giving it some extra oomph with the heavier, more bludgeoning elements. And lately Mories seems to have been having some real trouble with that. Also an issue is that after a certain point GTT sometimes crosses that line of embracing the droney aspect a bit too much, and then the music can start to sound a lot like Aderlating. Which isn't a bad thing necessarily, but eventually it can make you... well... want to go listen to Aderlating instead
That's how I pretty much feel about those two tracks that you named as highlights: indeed the best cuts here, but not really giving off enough of a uniquely GTT identity as they could

Finally giving this a real listen and I believe this is at least better than Abyss Of Longing Throats. The child's voice on the first track was really annoying and I can understand mz complaints regarding "Silent Burned Atrocities" which has an awkward sound (although I don't mind the composition at all, just the production).
I see this as a slight improvement. His experiments with more electronica-influenced sounds and beats is much more efficent than on the previous one. I must admit that I have lost some of my passion when it comes to Mories' works in general. Not in a live setting though, live he's one of the very best in the style.

I would prefer to see another collaboration with Dragged Into Sunlight, that album was a beast.
