Oh, there are lots of great people in this community. Several have left, of course, but there are several still here who are silent and/or have already reached out to me privately with their support. It's a handful of mods who roam around like a pathetic little pack of wolves who have contributed to the decline of the site as a whole, but I still find value in the site in terms of news and band info.

This will be my last post on this thread, but I feel it's important for me to emphasize the fact that I do not care whether this pack of individuals respects me or not. I have an amazing life - great wife, great children, great house, great health, etc. That a few folks on metalstorm.net have taken issue with a handful of posts I've made means nothing to me. Individuals like you - I can say with 100% certainty I wouldn't want to live an hour in your life. I do not respect you, and as a general rule in life, I do not put weight into the opinions of those whom I do not respect or whose lives I do not envy in any measure.

So you can continue to rant and rave and read into everything I say, the same way you interpreted my support of free speech absolutism as "DeFenDiNg FaSCisM." One day you might emotionally mature into somebody who knows how to let things roll off your shoulders, especially when it comes to silly internet quibbles. Or you can continue taking turns with your mod buddies at DESTROYING me in the comments. The choice is yours.

But as I said, this is my last time bothering to reply here.

PS - Wishing the extinction of humanity over a tree is still silly.

I'm glad to read that you have an amazing life, SLP. I don't think many people struggling in modern society can look at their life, their family and their achievements and be genuinely happy and proud of it all, so it's really great to see someone who can say that. I'm happy for you.

But then why do you go to an internet forum - one that you constantly disparage in no uncertain terms - to rage-bait other people? Since you clearly enjoy being here and, to paraphrase your own words, have an otherwise happy and successful life, why not engage with this community in a more positive way?
