One of my disappointments of 2018, why did they have to go trendy and go all djent? They were pretty unique on their previous two albums. You can say Disperse did it too, just that Disperse made more interesting music.
---- I thought the two primary purposes for the internet were cat memes and overreactions.

I enjoyed this album, even though I was already in favor of djent sounding albums and the fact that I didn't know about this band until this album, so I can't say if I would have been disappointed if they changed their sound.

^ I do like some djent, but these guys just took me by surprise. And I've heard better prog djent than this album. A grower, it's a 7 these days.
