A lot of the metal bands out there who like to fancy themselves as the heaviest of the heavies really ought to sit down and listen to some P.H.O.B.O.S..

The drums don't seem as thicc as before however the other instruments shime much more echoey and heavier. I seriously am considering preordering this on vinyl when I normally don't blindbuy anymore however I'm urging this will be one of the best of the decade.

Also everything revealed at this point (except the shortish length being 47 mins) to the art is completely high caliber. The artwork layout across the whole thing is tremondous, so passonate, so vivid. I love how the colours bleeds across onto the other sides but sadly not on the vinyl disc itself.

I may not have the largest collection but I certainly have the absolute best

Already got the whole thing on promo download from a good friend who runs the label, and while I'm not gonna spill too much so early all I can say is it's fucking massive. Easily as solid as previous P.H.O.B.O.S. releases, just in a different way. This guy has been really good at slightly shifting up the formula with each release while still maintaining a common theme throughout

I am the Magician and the Exorcist. I am the axle of the wheel, and the cube in the circle. “Come unto me” is a foolish word: for it is I that go.

Musically incredibly good; the layering and detailing is beyond what most bands could ever hope to achieve, and at times this sounds like some kind of horrifying vision of a 1950's horror-sci-fi B-movie; I don't know why but that bassy guitar sounds a bit like a theremin to me, or some similar old-school sci-fi effect. The aggrotech vocals definitely do not add to this though, it didn't need them and I could definitely have done without them as it stops me getting fully immersed in it at times. Fortunately they're not as debilitating as The Body so I can live with them.

This band has a sound that I can't quite really put my finger onto. It's uniqueness is impressive. I however am not a taker of such sound. Don't think p.h.o.b.o.s. is quite the band for me.

Damn, as said previously the drums don't have the OOMPH of previous albums which is a minus 1 in my book. Still a good release, but I still prefer Tectonics.

My least favorite phobos record. It is too riff-based, "uplifting", structured ,vocal-heavy and not t as reliant on drones as I would like.

Their second album is still their best, and the heaviest thing I have ever heard.
