What was the longest time a band waited to release its debut full-length? And I mean active time, none of that break-up and reunion thing? 8 years? 10? What about 12? Well Mare have been cooking Ebony Tower for 15 fucking years.

This album is excellent at certain sections and at certain times it gets a tad boring. But I suppose you need to listen to that boring sections which ultimately culminates into those soul sucking, attention grabbing, small , utterly ecstatic as well as eargasmic, flitting sessions which makes it worth it, I suppose. Two such sessions are in the end of the songs, Blood across the Firmament and Nightbound.
