We South Americans are nor the luckiest people when it comes to metal, we don't have those big festivals, not all bands come to play here, and sometimes not all records get released here. This brings us to the point of this review, a little late but worthy, why a little late? Because South America can now rejoice by the release of a little jewel, Kreator's fourth album, "Extreme Aggression" yes, we got the release 15 years late to be exactly, but at least we got it, via Century Media Brazil. Thrash metal originated in the Bay Area of California and many believed it to be an American phenomenon, which grew and spawned in the United States. American phenomenon it was but not just confined to the United States. It also found a very unlikely breeding ground in Germany. The German thrash movement was spearheaded by bands like Sodom, Tankard and Destruction and it was considered to be paler compared to its American counterparts but Kreator was different. It's not quite the outright classic as the two albums it's sandwiched between are, but there's still plenty of awesome thrash on it. "Some Pain Will Last" is a monstrous song, and is my fave on the album, but other songs like the title track, "Bringer Of Torture", and "Betrayer" are among Kreator's best songs, and ''Fatal Energy" is an awesome closing track!

"Extreme Aggression" has a couple of so-so songs, which is why it isn't quite in the same classic league as it's predecessor and successor.

Old school TM, full whit hate aggressiveness, angry young men whit jeans and long hair goies to football, away days and so on., basically action happens in the streets. You see here all in the lyrics, music. Today non od TM bands are so angry and aggressive. There are no message in today's metal as in those days FTW. I am growing away from such metal, but sometimes its great to listen somethging like this. I wanna be young forever ehhh

Extreme Aggression was my first Kreator album and remains my favourite of theirs to this day. To think that they released this one and Coma of Souls in less than a year and a half between them is insane. Tremendous inspiration.

My entry to the gate of thrash was Slayer, Nuclear Assault, Overkill and then this. I still remember that I found Extreme Aggression through Last.fm radio(which now defunct) and then straight head to YouTube to listen to this incredible mess.

An absolute classic. 2nd only (maybe 3rd) to Terrible Certainty (and maybe Pleasure) in the list of my favourite Kreator albums. Probably the last truly great Kreator album too.

I don't get it. Pleasure to Kill is incredible. Half the songs on this and Terrible Certainty are mediocre, half good. 2 massive letdowns after one of the best thrash albums of all time

Top 100 album! IMHO this is the best Kreator album. PtK and CoS close and also EoG of the new era. But for me this is the peak of fast and agressive thrash metal! Faves: All! No fillers and superb lyrics. P.S.: A small criticism: The cover is really bad - I like artwork.
