Band was originaly formed in November of 2012 with vocalist Ivan Falb and guitarist Predrag Andrejević with idea to play thrash metal and create a new unique sound. After numerous line-up changes with bassists, guitarists and drummers, Ivan and Predrag stayed the only two constant members still hoping "to make something from their band". First name of the band was Void Whisper, but after final line-up changed with drummer Alen Grujičić that joined in December 2013 and bassist Vladimir Čokorilo with guitarist Relja ?krbić, who joined in September 2013, band was ready to start with some serious work. In Summer of 2014, EP "Victim of the Night" was recorded and released.

After some problems with Alen in January of 2015, band got stuck without the drummer and started looking for new one. It was really hard, but we found a f***ing great guy, Sini?a Nikolić, who is exactly the type of guy that we needed. Until Spring of 2016, band worked on new songs for debut album, which was recoreded that Spring and released later in October of the same year under the name "Dragged into the Beyond". Until the end of September 2017, there were a lot of gigs, the most notable one being on EXIT festival 2017, others: Metal Madness, Zlo Fest III... In November 2017, Deathonation splitted up due to personal reasons and differences in musical interests.
