The solo project Marlugubre was born in December 2018 in the mind of Tiziano Colella, former founder guitarist of Abyss Nöir. His idea was to publish the acoustic and instrumental songs he had written over the previous 5 years.

After having released an album, an EP and various singles, he decides to move to the genre that most belongs to him, that is progressive death metal, with some post-metal influences and pinches of jazz and blues in his (most recently) songs, aggregated to other genres that influence the artist.
