Biography
FIINKY PIE is a band of Rock / Hard Rock music, which is totally anchored in the musical style of the eighties and nineties and influenced by bands such as KISS, MÖTLEY CRÜE, AC/DC or even METALLICA.
The group is made up of four established musicians: Raymz, initiator of the group, does the vocals and plays bass, Karl and Estelle are the guitar players and Eric does the drums. Each one has different and various musical influences, still the band often revamps well-known musical stereotypes, of which one never gets tired off!!!
Raymz leitmotiv since 2002 was to concretize his project of a Rock' n' Roll and Metal band with a heavy sound, just alike the best US bands.
His idea is to play a simple and effective music, with good refrains and seizing riffs to generate a vast interaction between the band and its public. Through the know-how of these young musicians, the band also releases an enormous amount of energy to get the good old fashioned Rock addicts to move to the sound of the music!
Up until now, FIINKY PIE has produced two albums, both signed up at BRENNUS RECORDS, HURLANTES Editions (GOJIRA, DAGOBA, ZUUL FX...). In addition to those two records, the very new "RUST" album has been recorded in May 2006 at the Studio Sainte Marthe in Paris, under the supervision of Francis Caste (AQME, LAZY, FLYING POOH...). The band is currently searching for new signature offers for it.
Since its beginning, FIINKY PIE has given over a hundred concerts, in bars, clubs and festivals in several regions of France, in the company of various bands such as Royal Hunt, DSK, Kobe, Thorgen, Tracy Gang Pussy, High-school Motherfuckers, Black Horizon, Shannon, Snake Eye, Eternal Rest, Ancetres, Darknation, Messaline, Lonewolf Corp, Mr Jack, Crusader, Rebirth...
