After playing, gigging and recording for over 7 years, they have perfected their unique sound by blending the thrilling, edge-of-your-seat guitar talents of Stephan Ceña and the soaring guitar melodies of Shayne Yap (who is no longer with Tessitura), backing it up with the up-lifting bass lines of Leillyn McColman and the driving drum patterns of Gord Alexander, and finishing the sound with Ceña’s powerful screams and inspiring voice.

Tessitura is proud to announce the joining of a new guitarist, Chris Devries, to be replacing the recent departure of Shayne Yap. Chris' background is of a more brutal sound, but yet is naturally fitting in with Tessitura!!

Tessitura can be heard on their sophomore full-length album, ‘Savage Embrace’, as well as on their 2010 debut, ‘Battle to Eternity’.
