Biography
Tengwar is a folk metal band from Argentina, within celtic & medieval influences, created by Thorvi & Férin in october 2003.
The official debut of the band was on September 9th of 2004. A first Demo-EP "The Pilgrim's March" was released on August of 2005. Along the intense live work of the band in 2006 and 2007 the Demo-EP sold out.
A new EP "Tengwesta Quendion" was released on October of 2008. The CD included four hymns of the band. This EP even re-pressed once, was rapidly sold out.
The recording of their first album "The Halfling Forth Shall Stand" started in 2009 & is released since March 2011.
This album is a first part of a conceptual work concerning the matters of J.R.R. Tolkien's famous trilogy.
