Arcane Dimension are Teresa Camp on vocals and Jarek Tatarek on guitarviol and acoustic guitars. Formed in 2004, the band carries roots in atmospheric rock as well as more ambient touches of electronic, world, and eastern music. Their goal is to transport you to another place, another time, and a new frame of mind. Influences vary from Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin & Apocalyptica , to Niyaz, Lorena McKennitt, Jef Stott, & Dead Can Dance. The band's message is about self-empowerment, awakening and raising the consciousness. Currently, Arcane Dimension has finished it's second full length LP 'The Becoming', and is putting finishing touches on it's companion "The Awakening" - an acoustic release of music with no particular boundaries that will be revolving around rich atmospheres, magical vibes, and deep emotions. These albums have been nothing less than an incredible journey for the band as they have traveled, explored new instruments, new musical techniques and found a whole lot more inspiration for songs in the chaos of this world. The new music features enchanting vocal harmonies plus, new instrument called Guitarviol (featured in Niyaz) a tight rhythm section that includes fretless bass, ethnic drums and programming. Arcane Dimension was founded by Jarek Tatarek, a talented multi-instrumentalist from Poland who relocated to San Francisco, California to pursue his musical dream. While his main instrument is guitar, Jarek plays fretless bass, keyboards, guitarviol and experiments with drum programming and live doumbek. Jarek is joined by Teresa Camp, who writes all lyrics and vocals for the band. In addition to her extensive vocal studies, Teresa is also a trained belly dancer who not only performs with Arcane Dimension but is a member of the belly dance troupe The Rising Stars, performing at many dance festivals and clubs. In 2010 Arcane Dimension's musical journey has brought them to the new stage of events, and California West Coast festivals where they will be performing the material from the "Awakening" as well as featuring live belly dance performance by guest dancers.
