Biography
Auxitt play a diverse mix of rock, pop and a small dash of hardcore. All three members are from Nuremberg: Andreas Braun (guitar, vocals); Manuel Mumper (vocals, bass); and Stefan Seidner (drums). At the time of the band's inception in 2003, the members' ages ranged from just 22 to 24.
In the first two years of the band's existence, Auxitt established their style as a pop/punk amalgamation; however, the members were committed to bring their own influences into the genre, and as early as 2004, the ambitious trio went to Berlin. "Emotion Faked Location Skip", the band's debut release, was then recorded at Daily Hero Recordings. Auxitt went on to win the Check'n'Play competition and were leaders of the Nuremberg Musikzentrale Regionalcharts.
In April 2006 the band recorded their next release, the "Rebuilding The Architect" EP. The album welcomed a stylistic change: screams and hardcore elements were incorporated to the catchy melodies displayed on their debut album. Restrain Records took interest in the band, and Auxitt signed with the label in early 2007.
In July 2007 recording began in Berlin on the first official album under Restrain, "Your Sakura". In three weeks the band managed to complete everything necessary at Daily Hero Recordings. This new material reflected the band's history and stretches from alternative songs and rock ballads to hardcore songs with wild emotional outbursts. "Your Sakura" was released on November 2 2007; meanwhile, Auxitt are waiting to display their new material live and expand their list of attended gigs to more than 50.
As of 2008 Auxitt have been on hiatus, with no word as to when the members plan to continue the project.
