Biography
SIGIS, Heavy Thrash Metal band, was created in southern France in the year of grace 2003.
Due to the spiritual chaos in which the world has been led during the beginning of this new era, its five members decided to generate a knowledge of truth before the end of all hope. Their word would be spread by a pure force : Metal, the only vehicle able to bear the embarassment of truth.
From the union of its five music lovers, inspired by the powerful American Thrash Metal and the Heavy Metal wisdom, has appeared a unique Heavy Thrash Metal. The songs are sung in French in order to reach new musical possibilities and to affect the soul of its public.
A four title demo self-producted in late 2003 allowed SIGIS to start playing on stage. In 2005, the band gathered a second time in studio to record a six title demo. As a consequence, the band could move up a gear and inflame south-eastern France concert halls.
Tireless and imperturbable, SIGIS kept doing shows during the beginning of the following year. The band finally decided to work together in studio to channel its energy on a first album entitled The Great Return of Nibiru, " Le Grand Retour de Nibiru ".
In this begining of year 2008 the album is now available, opening new lands to conquer, new battles to win, new physical and spiritual chains to break. SIGIS invite you to join its fight against what people have ever feared : hell on earth.
