Lord Asmoday (vocals), Count Damien Nightsky (guitar), Occulti-is (Occulta Mors) (bass) founded the death metal band 'Purulent Obduction' in March 1990. And during the same month, Blacksoul joined the band. Since then the band evolved musically, and changed the band name to Demoniac in September 1993. The band made two demos and a DVD-video. However in February 1994, there was tension in the band and the dispute has escalated that both Lord Asmoday and Count Damien Nightsky left the band in the same month.
Both Lord Asmoday and Count Damien Nightsky have founded Andras in March/April 1994. At the time the band consisted of Lord Asmoday (drums), Bruder Amon (vocals), Lord Asgaqlun (guitar) and Count Damien Nightsky (guitar). Blacksoul and Occulti-is changed the band name Demoniac to Moonblood. In April 1995, the demo "The True Darkness" was recorded. But a week before the recording started Bruder Amon left the band and was replaced by Black Abyss. During December of the same year the second demo "Das Schwert Unserer Ahnen" was recorded in Digan studio in Annaberg-Buchholz, which resulted in a much better quality demo and led to a deal with Last Epitaph.
At the end of January 1996 guitarist Ragnar joined the band and Lord Asgaqlun left the band in the autumn of the same year. Andras played its first live gig with Ancient Wargod, Eternity and Dunkelgrafen on 28 September 1996, in which a live recording exists. After this gig Ragnar left the band and guitarist Farago of Ancient Wargod joined Andras.
In February 1997, Andras entered Blue Line recording studio in Göttingen and they have recorded their debut album "Die Rückkehr Der Dunklen Krieger." Black Abyss played bass on this album and contributed vocals as well. And due to some health issues suffered by Lord Asmoday he left the band, and the session drummer Bileeam (Ancient Wargod) stepped in. Bileeam left the band right after the recording of the album was completed.
The search for a new drummer ended in late 1997 when Shadow (Syncrasia) joined in. Syncrasia was rehearsing in the practice room just next to Andras and it where Shadow was noticed. Black Abyss concentrated on his Bass playing, and Earth (Syncrasia) vocalist joined the band in early 1998.
Andras started writing new songs and in September 1998 went back to Digan studio to record "Sword Of Revenge" and which was released through Last Epitaph. However the lineup went through some changes in 1999 both Earth and Shadow decided to leave the band for personal reasons.

So we just worked together on new material continues. Andras started to record their third album "Quest Of Deliverance" in Erzschlag Studio. Black Abyss did the vocals, bass some guitar work. Count Damien Nightsky did the lead guitar and some bass and vocals parts. The drum parts were done with a drum machine programmed by Sven Rechenberger.
