Biography
FLAMETAL are pioneering a new genre, the first of its kind, the unholy union of harmony and rhythm. Spearheaded by innovative artist Benjamin Woods, flamenco guitar is his profession, metal is in his blood, and by recruiting the best musicians and dancers, they excecute this fatal fusion.
The music is based off flamenco rhythms and tonalities, super-heated with blinding shred metal from a band of professional and virtuosic, musical madmen! FLAMETAL is breaking away from the usual. Instead, Flametal's performances are unlike any other, with Flamenco guitar and sometimes flamenco dancers. You will see and hear ferocious musicianship, swirling flamenco rhythms, as well as fleet-fingered dual guitar-shredding delivering spine-crushing, metal brutality!
Flamenco is centered around the Spanish style of singing: Cante flamenco, and real Metal is usually associated with ear-bleeding high volumes and violent attitude. Although brutal, and rhythmically correct, FLAMETAL is neither flamenco nor metal in the simplest of terms. Rather, it's the best of both worlds, enhancing each other's rich beauty and dark decadence. Behold as you can actually hear and see the music, burning white hot with passion and woven in a web of pure evil!
