Biography
Akentra, rock metal band, owes its name to a carnivorous plant. Vacillating between fragility and strength, Akentra's music is made up of a strong rhythmic section, sharp guitars sounds and a strong feminine voice carrying lyrics tainted with darkness and melancholy.
After the release of the EP "IV IV IV" in 2009, the band comes complete with 2 new guitarists and finishes the writing of the first album. Recorded, mixed and mastered in "The Dome Studio" by David Potvin (Lyzanxia, One-way mirror, Phaze I, ...), "Asleep" in now available since October 10th 2010.
