Biography
Witchking was formed during the autumn of 2003. After many line-up changes, exactly one year after its birth they recorded first material - "Under the Siege" single, which also contained the ballad "And the Bearer Goes". In the year 2005 the vocal duties of Kamil Lacina were relieved by former Hellfire singer - the screaming Tom "The Storm" Twardowski.
After several more line-up changes, in 2006 the band recorded its debut LP - eponymous "Witchking". It was released by French label Aural Offerings, and the premiere took place on 14th of July 2007. Later that year the drummer Marcin "Dziadek" Jungiewicz left the band. He was replaced by Krzysztof "Banan" Nowakowski. With this line-up the band records its second LP "Hand of Justice", scheduled to be released by Insanity Records.
As to the band successes, one may include the appearance on Metalmania festival, 3rd place in the Alphard Sound contest, 3rd place at the annual summary of "Teraz Rock" magazine (Hope of the Year category), numerous gigs around the country and abroad.
