Biography
Kiana is a 6-piece modern metal mayhem from Finland. It combines together melodic death metal with many accessible factors: catchy chorus parts with clean vocals, trembling low end guitars and melodic hooks that catches the attention.
The band was founded 2005 and it has been developing its own sound ever since. The core of the band has been the same since the beginning as Wellu, Antti, Jarno and Jani keep pushing the band forward relentlessly.
So far Kiana has released two self financed EP's (Deep Inside-06, Reflections-08) which both gathered great reviews, and they released their debut album Abstract Entity via Symbolic Records Finland at the end of September 2009. Abstract Entity has been a great success; it rose straight to the official Finnish top-40 list, to a place 31. It's a big achievement and a reward after the long and hard working. The album was also noticed worldwide and the feedback has been more than good.
