Biography
Nephalokia tends to bring together the heaviness of modern metal, the brutality of deathcore and the atmospheric ambiances ofpost-hardcore. Their music tries to smash the borders between genres in order to express a certain contradiction of emotions.
Two years after the first 2008 eponymic demo, Nephalokia records with Mobo of Conkrete Studio (Eryn Non Dae, Warattah, Simplixity) its first album "Sunshine" released on 04.22.11 and distributed by Klonosphère/Season of Mist.
Since 3 years, Nephalokia plays mainly in France and performs at various concerts in the side of French metal scene including Gojira, Ultra Vomit, Betraying the Martys, Hacride and Eryn Non Dae.
Following the departure of Xavier beginning May 2011, the band welcomes a new guitartist, Clément, who quickly adapted and allowed Nephalokia to stay on its dynamic. Currently, the formation started writing the second album just as brutal and melancholy.
