Krypteia was formed in 2006 by the founding members Kvist, Steinfaust and Farsot. The band started writing on their musical malignancy and remained without a draconian voice until 2007 when Crocell was recruited. Together they composed their first demo which was named Phantoms of the Void. At this time Leonard Hummer was introduced to the band. With his skills in creating enchanting ambient noises and soundscapes he took Krypteia to another level and is now a member of the band. In 2010 the second album, called Avodah Zarah, was recorded. All the members have experience from various bands before Krypteia. In Aeternum, Radioskugga, Malicioum and Panzerschreck to name a few.
