Aenygmist is a black metal band hailing from Drummondville, Quebec. The band started out in 2005 as drummer Joannie and guitarist Roxane playing cover songs. In 2007, guitarist Marie-Audrée joined the band. They then started writing and playing their own material. Finally, in 2009, singer Vanessa and bassist Jessica joined, completing the line-up. On October 22, 2012 the band posted on their Facebook page that they were officially disbanded.
