Biography
Pounding drums, blazing guitars and breathtaking vocals. Clear and pure as well as distorted and perverse. Sin7sinS is a female fronted metal band from The Netherlands that distinguishes itself by this unique sound.
Started as a project, this developed towards the end of 2007 into a band with a fixed line-up by finding musicians with the same common goal. Sin7sinS matured and recorded a demo the same year. This demo put the band straight into the spotlight of the press and led to a number of great live shows, starting off in famous Paradiso in Amsterdam. In 2008, the band toured The Netherlands as part of the Dutch Jägermeister Tour line-up and also played shows in Belgium and Italy. Sin7sinS recorded its first full-length album named "Perversion Ltd." in 2010 and also signed a record deal with German label Massacre Records. The album was released worldwide in October 2010 and very well received by the international press.
After playing several shows with some of the big names of the genre (e.g. Epica, Sepultura, Leaves' Eyes) in 2011, Sin7sinS released its second album "Carnival of No Tomorrow" in May 2012 in collaboration with Suburban Records. This album, with guest vocalists Mark Jansen (Epica / MaYaN) and Dan Swanö (also responsible for the production and mix), attracted a great response both home and abroad and was again followed by numerous successful live shows throughout The Netherlands.
Early 2013, Sin7sinS slowly started writing and recording material for its third record. Many songs were created but not all made it into the final selection. At the end of 2013, the final songs for the record took their shape and the band also hit the road for its first European Tour. Together with German bands Leaves' Eyes and Atrocity, Sin7sinS performed in The Netherlands, Germany, Austria and Italy. The songwriting for the new record finished early 2014 and 10 songs were recorded. The album named "Purgatory Princess" is again mixed and produced by Swedish metal-legend Dan Swanö and will be released by Suburban Records.
Over the past few years, Sin7sinS has earned its place in the female fronted metal scene and is well-known for its diversity and continuous renewal of its sound and stage performance. This album brings a new sound as well and contains its most heavy material to date. After a few changes in band line-up, Sin7sinS is now ready to hit the stage again. The album "Purgatory Princess" will be released 24th November 2014 and will also be available for download.
