Tristessa was the founder of Lloth and then of Astarte. After the rename of Lloth into Astarte, Lloth reunited in 2003 and with new members made some live gigs in 2003 and then paused again in 2004 for a long period of time. Lloth was activated again in the summer of 2013 and started preparing a new record into black/death style. Due to Tristessa's illness everything was put on ice. On September 2014 the band announced that they will be releasing an album again.
According to the band, the ' T ' in the middle of their new logo stands for Tristessa and that the main reason for the reunion is to honor her memory and legacy.
