i'm of the age where when i started university, finals week my apt floor was covered in books and paper, i was so happy when i got my first laptop and that wasn't a thing anymore, for the most part

I can't imagine studying/working without a laptop/ipad. The ability to do everything on one machine without having to have paper laying everywhere is a bliss

I'm also just realizing that - technically - my iPad is the most powerful machine here. But I can't develop on that.

I like Apple products better in general. I don’t do much gaming anymore, just older ones with my daughter

The other day I saw someone having a conversation through a Bluetooth headphone that translates language in real time with AI. It’s pretty insane and tech like that will eliminate the language barrier further.

And I don't have to use Windows on it.

Honestly if I didn't also do gaming and kept rebuilding my gaming rig every few years, my MacBook would be the most powerful machine in my household.
