At the beginning they played heavy thrash metal influenced by bands like Slayer. After some changes in the line-up they started to play the brutal style of death metal they still have now. The band writes their lyrics about Greek Mythology, from a gore point of view. The name "Kronos" is derived from the name of the leader of the first generation of Titans, divine descendants of Gaia, the earth, and Ouranos, the sky.
