Annihilator - Trivia
"Alison Hell" was written about a girl who had a terrible fear of the boogeyman, and had gone insane due to her parents not reassuring her that the boogeyman didn't exist. The song is also rumored to be based on a true story.
"Never, Neverland" (the song from the album of the same name) was written about a girl who was locked in her room for five years for looking at a boy in the grocery store.
Jeff Waters owns his own recording/production studio, known as Watersound Studios Inc.
Jeff Waters and vocalist Dave Padden are born on the same day, 10 years apart.
Among several guitars, such as Hamer Flying V, Gibson SG, Gibson Les Paul, Fender Stratocaster, and ESP guitars, Jeff Waters has been known to use a Dave Mustaine signature Flying V that he owns.
In the middle of recording of the album Metal, Waters was invited to an American record company's party where he was surprised that so many musicians knew his Annihilator work very well. Encouraged by such unexpected support and after talks with long-time Annihilator fans from such bands as Trivium, Children Of Bodom, Lamb Of God, In Flames, Arch Enemy and others, Waters asked if they could play/sing on some tracks from the new Annihilator CD - which they did. |
