Suffocation - Trivia
In 2017, on September 22, Suffocation was going to play in Mexico, however, an earthquake hit the country. Band members joined the volunteers and Kevin Muller mentioned being surprised by the solidarity of the Mexican people. A month later the band finally performed in Mexico.
In 2007, the History Channel's advertisement for "The Dark Ages" featured Suffocation in a warehouse playing "Bind Torture Kill" from their self-titled 2006 album. You Tube - Suffocation History Channel Commercial.
The band split up after "Despise The Sun" and reformed in 2002 with some line-up changes. Doug Cerrito was asked to join when the band reformed, but apparently he wasn't interested.
"Human Waste" was the first LP ever released on Relapse Records. They aren't the first band released on the label though(they first released several 7" singles). |
