Abbath - Finds Label Home, Band Lineup Unveiled
Things are coming together for Abbath, the band formed by Immortal frontman Abbath Doom Occulta. You probably remember that last month, Abbath announced he would move on with a new band under his name, putting Immortal to rest. Now Season Of Mist are announcing the signing of Abbath and according to them, the Norwegian black metal legend is currently working on his debut album for Season Of Mist, which is expected to be ready in early 2016. Moreover, he has revealed the band's line-up.

Black Sabbath - Farewell Show At Ozzfest Japan Canceled
It turns out Black Sabbath's Japanese "farewell" performance at this year's Ozzfest Japan has been canceled. Also, no explanation was given for this. However, festival attendees will still get Ozzy Osbourne, he will perform with his solo act plus some special friends. The Black Sabbath farewell show caused some confusion among fans and the media, unsure if the performance was their final show in Japan or the band's final show.

Abbath - Puts Immortal To Rest, Moves On With Solo Band
It seems like the Legal Battles In The North over the Immortal's name/logo have ended without an agreement. The band's frontman Abbath has released a statement regarding the future of Immortal or rather the end. Essentially, Abbath will move on with a new band under his name and the name of Immortal, for the time being, will rest. Abbath will perform at Blastfest next year and already has announced a show in London this September as well.

Black Sabbath - To Play Farewell Show At Ozzfest Japan 2015
Black Sabbath will close out Ozzfest Japan in Makuhari Messe outside Tokyo in Japan on November 22nd. The announcement was made by Sharon Osbourne who calls it their "farewell." Last year, frontman Ozzy Osbourne said that the next Sabbath album, the follow-up to 2013's 13, would be their last with a tour to go with it. So far, no other dates have been announced and there's been no mention of the album being ready.

Black Sabbath - Bassist Geezer Butler Arrested After Bar Brawl
Black Sabbath's bassist Geezer Butler was put behind bars after he apparently got into a bar brawl in Death Valley, California on Tuesday night. The heavy metal legend was arrested on charges of misdemeanor assault, public intoxication and vandalism. The incident occurred at the Corkscrew Saloon in Death Valley National Park. According to a sheriff's report, an argument led to "an individual being struck" and a "broken window." Butler spent the night in jail and was subsequently released following a detox and citation.

Immortal - Abbath Responds, Working On New Album With Other Musicians
The drama continues on Immortal's camp. There have been new updates on their Legal Battles In The North over the band's name/logo. The group's frontman Abbath (Olve Eikemo) has attempted to claim rights to the Immortal name via his sole proprietorship Eikemo Compositions. Guitarist Demonaz (Harald Nævdal) and drummer Horgh (Reidar Horghagen) want the Immortal trademark to be shared by all three members. Well, Abbath has responded and says he attempted to secure exclusive rights to the band's name and logo because he thought drummer Horgh and guitarist Demonaz had quit the band, according to Dagbladet.no. More things have come up, as the fact that Abbath has been working on a new Immortal album with other musicians.

Black Sabbath - To Release New Album And Tour Again
Despite the hints that Black Sabbath's show at London's Hyde Park this last July could be their last, the heavy metal legends will be touring again, according to frontman Ozzy Osbourne. Black Sabbath - Extend Tour Into 2014
More Black Sabbath shows! Following gigs in North and South America, Australia, Asia and now Europe (which kicks off on November 20th in Helsinki, Finland), Black Sabbath have announced additional shows in North America and Europe in 2014. The 2014 North American dates launch on March 31st at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York and will hit ten cities in Canada, including stops in Quebec, Montreal, Ottawa, Calgary and Edmonton, before wrapping on April 26th at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, California.

Black Sabbath - Town Hall Event To Be Streamed Live
Heavy metal legends Black Sabbath will mark the release of their new album 13 with a special live event the day of the album's release in the US (June 11th). Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler will participate in the Black Sabbath Town Hall via Google+ Hangout streamed live on YouTube and Google+ and broadcast live on Ozzy's Boneyard on SiriusXM at 7:00 p.m. ET. Ozzy and Geezer will appear from the live event at Angel Orensanz Foundation For Contemporary Art, with Tony Iommi beaming in from Birmingham, England, while 13 drummer Brad Wilk and Ozzy's son Jack Osbourne (who directed the clips to launch the album) will join live face-to-face via Google+ Hangout from Los Angeles.
