This year marks 30 years of Hatebreed existence. To celebrate the occasion, the American hardcore/metalcore formation will do some heavy touring in months to come. First, they will be heading out to Europe for a string of festival and headline club shows in June. On this dates, they will be joined by Crowbar. A couple months later, in September and October, Hatebreed will embark on a month-long headline tour across the North American lands. English extreme metal legends Carcass and Brazilian death metal ensemble Crypta will be joining them on the road as special guests.

Hatebreed frontman Jamey Jasta confirmed in a recent interview with Blabbermouth that the band is intending to hit the studio around late winter/early spring of next year to begin recording their next album. Tentatively due later in 2024 or 2025, the album will be the follow-up to 2020's The Weight Of The False Self.

Former Hatebreed drummer Nick "Nickel P" Papantoniou was found guilty of murder, according to the New Haven Register. He was only in the band briefly (1996 and 1997). After re-hearing Nicholas Papantoniou's testimony in his own defense, a jury Thursday found him guilty of felony murder and two other charges in the assault upon Larry Dildy in his Hamden home in October 2014.

Connecticut hardcore mainstays Hatebreed are set to release another slab of anthems on their new record The Concrete Confessional, which is due in the spring of this year on Nuclear Blast. The album is being recorded with longtime producer Chris "Zeuss" Harris and will be mixed by Josh Wilbur, who has previously worked with Lamb Of God and Megadeth, among others. In support of The Concrete Confessional, Hatebreed will embark on a North American headlining tour in May/June.
