Nightwish - Present Upcoming Album Details

Nightwish have completed the recording process for their 9th studio album and are proud to announce the title, artwork and track listing. Human. :II: Nature. will be released on 10th of April, 2020 via Nuclear Blast. The long-awaited record, following 2015's Endless Forms Most Beautiful, will be a double album containing 9 tracks on the main CD and one long track, divided into eight chapters on CD 2. The album pre-orders will start on February 7th.

Nightwish - To Tour Europe In Late 2020

Nightwish - To Release New Live Album In December

On December 6th, Nightwish will unleash a brand new live album, Decades: Live In Buenos Aires. The show for this live release was filmed at Estadio Malvinas in Buenos Aires, as part of the band's Decades World Tour in 2018. This output will be released as a BluRay Digibook, 2CD Digipak, BluRay+2CD Earbook, 3LP. More details can be found below.

Nightwish - New Album In The Works, Drummer Jukka Nevalainen Quits

Nightwish have announced that they are working on their ninth studio album, scheduled for 2020 release. At the same time, a statement from long-time drummer Jukka Nevalainen has been posted, revealing news of his departure. In 2014 Jukka decided to stop all live and studio activities due insomnia problems. Currently, he has barely any issues to deal with, however, he decided to step down and leave the band. Current live drummer Kai Hahto will step in.

Nightwish - To Re-Release 'End Of An Era'

October 21st 2005 is a historic date for Nightwish fans - many tears flowed, yet the foundation was laid for a new beginning and the ongoing continuity of the band. What subsequently appeared as the DVD titled End Of An Era was not only the final show of their mega-selling Once tour, but also the very last joint performance with their singer Tarja Turunen. Due to all of these facets and more, the DVD will give you goose bumps many times over, yet it crowns the end of the Tarja chapter with a unique show that could hardly have been better or more spectacular. The setlist contains 18 hymns, such as the opening "Dark Chest Of Wonders", "Sleeping Sun", "Nemo" and "Bless The Child" through to the final "Wish I Had An Angel". Nightwish - To Release New Compilation Album

Nuclear Blast just announced that the new, upcoming compilation album of the Finnish symphonic masters Nightwish, titled Decades - An Archive Of Song will be released on March 3rd, 2018, and is now available for pre-order! This compilation album will be released in celebration of the band's worldwide success over the years, and will debut the remastered versions of the best Nightwish songs between the years of 1996-2016, including the band's earliest, self-titled demo, and a variety of songs from all of the band's eras.

Nightwish - Announce European Tour

Finns Nightwish continue with their confirmations of dates for "Decades: World Tour 2018". After kicking off with 34 concerts in North America in March/April, the journey will continue with dozens of European festival and headline shows. Nightwish - Confirmed For Wacken Open Air 2018, Bloodstock And More

Nightwish have been confirmed for a bunch of festivals next summer, including Norway Rock Festival, Wacken Open Air 2018, U.K.'s Bloodstock festival and Leyendas del Rock 2018 in Spain. These shows will be part of the "Decades: World Tour 2018". The setlist on this tour will include rarities from previous eras with some new twists and will only be performed on this world tour.

Nightwish - To Start New Tour In North America

Nightwish are taking a year off but they will return with a new tour next year. In March 2018, the symphonic metal legends will begin their 9-month-long "Decades: World Tour 2018" starting with 34 shows in North America. The band will have a very special setlist for the tour, featuring rarely heard material from the earlier era, and they will revisit the old songs with some new twists. To accompany the tour, Nuclear Blast will release a 2CD compilation entitled Decades on the 9th of March 2018.
