Crimson Shadows - Join Napalm Records, New Album Coming

The Canadian up-and-coming power metal band Crimson Shadows has signed a deal with Napalm Records. The band's debut record came out in 2011, Glory On The Battlefield, and the next one has already been recorded and will be released worldwide in the summer. The band previously won the international Wacken battle in 2013.

Darkthrone - Limited Book/Vinyl Box Set Coming In May

Peaceville Records has recently announced the release of Black Death And Beyond, which is a special collector's box set featuring an in-depth book containing extensive accounts of the Darkthrone's history and philosophy from both Gylve 'Fenris' Nagell and Ted 'Nocturno Culto' Skjellum, as well as additional recollections from bass player Dag Nilsen. Also included are three vinyls featuring Darkthrone's own choice cuts from their illustrious collection of death/black and metal/punk classics, presented on white, black and transparent vinyl, plus woven Darkthrone patch.

The new Tombs' album is upon us and it will be called Savage Gold. The album is set for a June 10th release (North America), June 9th (UK/world), and June 6th (Germany/Benelux/Finland) on Relapse Records and the artwork and tracklist have been revealed. Lullacry - Releasing Farewell Compilation

Remember Lullacry? The Finnish band released their latest album Where Angels Fear in 2012 after a long hiatus and now announces that Spinefarm Records will release a farewell 2CD compilation called Legacy 1998-2014 on May 9th. It includes special stuff like previously unreleased tracks, live tracks and one brand new song - "Hell On High Heels", recorded at Astia studio on February 2014 with the original Be My God era line-up.
