French symphonic metallers Whyzdom have just released a new video. It is for the song "Dancing With Lucifer" from the band's latest album Blind? but featuring new singer Marie Rouyer, who replaced Elvyne Lorien. Dutch Doom Days, a doom metal festival which takes place in Rotterdam, The Netherlands, has announced its first bands for the next edition. Those are Excruciation, a death/doom act from Switzerland, and Hungarian doom/sludge group Magma Rise. Later today, The Wounded Kings were also confirmed. Many more bands will be announced for the fest that will happen from October 31st to November 1st, 2014.

Per joined the band in 2010 as a live session player and after some substantial touring quickly became a steady fixture being heavily involved in the recording of Katatonia's 2012 studio album Dead End Kings. For the Swedes upcoming Unplugged & Reworked Tour, Bruce Soord (The Pineapple Thief, Wisdom Of Crowds) will perform with the band as a special guest.

Drummer Jaska Raatikainen of Finnish metallers Children Of Bodom has recently revealed that he was diagnosed with three prolapsed discs in his lower back during the band's fall 2013 European tour. Even though he is doing much better now, Jaska is still not 100% recovered. The band has just begun a North American tour and also released a new lyric video for the song "Sream For Silence" (from Halo Of Blood), available to watch here.
