Pyramids - Debut New Single

Following the announcement of a new album, the US experimental act Pyramids have now revealed the tracklist for their upcoming sophomore record A Northern Meadow, which is set for a release date of March 17th, 2015 through Profound Lore Records. The band have also unveiled a new single for one of these tracks entitled "I Am So Sorry, Goodbye". Since it will be hard to find, don't waste your chance of listening to it now here. Pyramids - New Album Title And Cover Artwork Revealed

American experimental act Pyramids have announced today that their new album will be titled A Northern Meadow. Grammy Awards - Best Metal Performance Nominations

Today, the nominations for the 57th annual Grammy Awards were announced. As usual, there is a metal category. In the best metal performance category, you find Anthrax, Mastodon, Motörhead, Slipknot, and Tenacious D. Two of those nominations are for cover songs included in the Ronnie James Dio tribute This Is Your Life.

Ramming Speed - Release New Video, Working On New Album

East Coast group Ramming Speed show how to host the wildest party imaginable in their new music video for "Anthems Of Despair (Summer Jam)". You can watch the madness unfold below. Dream Theater - Keyboardist Jordan Rudess Up For Grammy Nominations

Black Sabbath - Win Grammy For Best Metal Performance

The 56th annual Grammy Awards happened last night in Los Angeles and the winners are known. Black Sabbath took home the award for "Best Metal Performance" for "God Is Dead?", from their comeback album 13. Anthrax, Dream Theater, Killswitch Engage and Volbeat were also nominated in that category.

Pentagram - Victor Griffin Rejoins For Tour And New Album

Victor Griffin is returning to Pentagram for live shows and a new studio album. After taking a break from the band to bring Victor Griffin's In-Graved around the world, the doom metal guitar master returns to his main fold. The realigned lineup featuring the Liebling/Griffin duo backed by Greg Turley on bass and Sean Saley on drums will embark on a long awaited tour of the West Coast area in February and March. When not touring the world, the band will be working hard on a new album for release in 2014.

Metallica - Performing At Grammy Awards With Pianist Lang Lang

Metallica have been invited to perform at the 56th Annual Grammy Awards on January 26th. The group's Through The Never soundtrack is nominated for Best Recording Package and Metallica will be performing with Chinese pianist Lang Lang. They promise this will be a special performance. The Americans haven't performed in the Grammy Awards since 1992.
