Max Cavalera's brainchild Soulfly has finally confirmed officially that their new album is indeed titled Savages. But there is a lot more. The album will came out on October 4th, 2013 via Nuclear Blast. The list of guest appearances on the album includes vocals by bass player Tony Campos, Max Cavalera's son Igor Cavalera (Lody Kong), Clutch's Neil Fallon, Napalm Death's Mitch Harris and Jamie Hanks of I Declare War fame. Event:	Soulfy: Maximum Cavalera Tour 2013

Soulfly just announced that they left their longtime home of Roadrunner Records and inked a deal with Nuclear Blast Entertainment, a new division of Nuclear Blast formed by Nuclear Blast owner Markus Staiger and former Roadrunner A&R chief Monte Conner. Soulfly will enter the studio this month to begin recording their yet-untitled ninth studio album. The record will be produced by Terry Date, who is known for his work with such bands as Pantera, Deftones and Soundgarden, among many others. You can expect a release tentatively in the fall of this year.

US metallers Wykked Wytch have been confirmed to take part in the Maximum Cavalera 15th Anniversary North American Tour with Soulfly, Incite and Lody Kong. The 24-city tour kicks off on April 13th in Colorado Springs, CO. Wykked Wytch is touring in support of their most recent album The Ultimate Deception, which was released on February 14th via Goomba Music.

Tony Campos (Static-X, Prong, Asesino, Ministry, Possessed) has been tapped as the new bassist for Soulfly.

He will replace former bassist Bobby Burns, who left the group in July of last year.

Campos will be performing his first live show with Soulfly at Lokerse Feesten in Belgium on July 31st.
