Gorerotted - Parts Ways With Guitarist

UK Extreme Metal band Gorerotted has parted ways with guitarist Matt "Robin Pants" Hoban:

"Well people after 6 long years of hangovers and vomiting I have decided to call it a day and part ways with Gorerotted. I wish the boys great success for the future and would like to thank everyone I ever met at shows for being cool, especially the ones that let me smoke all their weed before being told to fuck off".

The band added: "We wish Matt all the best for the future and with his new band The Agonyst, he'll always be our bro and as he said, to us he left on a high note having just played our 1st ever show on American soil. We'll play the upcoming festival shows as a 4 piece until a suitable replacement is found, when we'll continue the writing of our 4th album 'Get Dead Or Die Trying.' You can catch us at Deathfest in London, Waldrock Festival in Holland, Kaltenbach in Austria and Brutal Assault in Czech Republic playing along side such greats as W.A.S.P., Testament, Meshuggah, Napalm Death, The Haunted, Madball, Satyricon, Deicide and many more."

Tharaphita - New Album "Iidsetel Sünkjatel Radadel" Coming Soon

Coming soon: new album by Tharaphita

"Taara, avita!" ("Help us, Taara!") Thus sounded the ancient warchant in the 13th century and thus may it sound once again in the year 2007! Tharaphita's newest release sees the band returning to its roots — back to the rough pagan reality, to the Estonian mothertongue. "Iidsetel sünkjatel radadel" ("On Paths Ancient and Dark") leaves no doubt about the identity of the forefather of original Estonian pagan/black metal; the music, reflecting aggression and battle-readiness, while also conveying sincere angst and agony, is a testament to the slumbering fight for freedom, yet a sure sign that a day shall come when ten thousand Estonians once again raise their swords towards the heavens. One in body and soul, let us rise against the name of christ!

Release Date: 26.02.2007
Format: CD
Bar code: 4740447401522
Catalogue# Board 015

Tracklist:
1. Iidsetel sünkjatel radadel
2. Vahkturm
3. Ristikatk
4. Surmatalv
5. Loodusviha
6. Hullusesse

Cypher - Signs With Rusty Cage Records

Just two months after releasing their "Dutch Metal Cult Series" Rusty Cage Records signs a two record deal with Dutch best kept secret, thrash/death sensation "Cypher".

Their debut album "Darkday Carnival", produced by "Textures" guitarist Jochem Jacobs, will be released at the end of October 2006.
"Darkday Carnival" is an album that explores the darker side of the human condition, lyrics masked by more than 2000 years of deceit and corruption, musically progressing towards a more complex and dynamic style without losing the brutal, relentless edge.

You've all heard bands like In Flames, Slayer, Morbid Angel, Nevermore and Testament, but wait 'til you hear this album!
You should know what to expect by now!
