Wolfshead - New Song Streaming Online

Wolfshead was founded in Oulu, Finland in October 2011 by bassist Vesa Karppinen (Fall Of The Idols), guitarist Ari Rajaniemi (Torture Pulse, Deliverance, Angry Machines) and drummer Jussi Risto (Angry Machines, Heads On Fire). Vocalist Tero Laine (Fore) joined the ranks a couple of months later. Now the heavy/doom metal band will release a new EP called Caput Lupinum on May 25th via GodEater Records. You can hear the new song "Mark Of The Devil" at Bandcamp right now.

Gwar - Kim Dylla Out, Releasing Book, New Tour Announced

Apart from fighting a lawsuit filed by Dave Brockie's father, Gwar are busy with many other things these days. First off, the band has announced a new tour, dubbed 30 Years of Total Domination Tour with support from Butcher Babies and Battlecross. Secondly, the group is releasing a new book titled Let There Be GWAR and also Kim Dylla, Vulvatron, was released from the band directly following the fall 2014 GWAR Eternal Tour, and will no longer perform with the group. Vulvatron will live on but portrayed by someone else.

Shape Of Despair - Debut New Track

Shape Of Despair have shared more material from their new album. While they have previously released the track "Monotony Fields", the second one is called "Descending Inner Night" which is also 10 minutes long. It is funeral doom after all! Neurotech - Announce New Album

Industrial metal composer Wulf of Neurotech has announced on the band's Facebook page that you can expect a new release in June. The album will be called Stigma with cover art by Surya Djalil. Tristana - Joining Forces With Singer Mats Levén

Swedish singer Mats Levén (Yngwie Malmsteen, Therion, Candlemass) is collaborating with the Slovakian alternative metal band Tristana. The new project, calling itself Tristana Feat. Mats Levén, will make festival appearances this summer. Tristana's third album, Virtual Crime, came out this year. Later this year, the band will record a new song and music video with Mats.

Rainbow - Former Bassist Craig Gruber Dies

Sad news to report as Craig Gruber, bassist in the groups Elf and Rainbow, passed away on Tuesday, May 5th, at the age of 63 after battling prostate cancer. He also played in The Rods and Black Sabbath briefly. Condolences to Craig Gruber's family, friends and bandmates.
