The 69 Eyes - Announce New Album, New Single Teaser Online

While we previously reported that Finns The 69 Eyes were working on new album, now the band has released the first teaser of the new material. The gothic outfit is currently still in the studio with producer Johnny Lee Michaels in his Helsinki-based Bat Cave Studios. Their 11th studio album is titled Universal Monsters and will see the light of the day in April 2016 through Nuclear Blast Records. So, the wait is almost over.

Magnum - Share New Record Details

British prog rock icons Magnum will release their new album, Sacred Blood Divine Lies, on February 26th, 2016 via Steamhammer/SPV, it has been announced. The record will be available as a digipak version (including a DVD), 2LP colored version, CD and as a digital download. The band will also embark on a European tour. Kypck - Releasing New Album In 2016

Finnish doomsters Kypck (pronounced Kursk) are ready to give us more doom (metal). The band uses the Russian language in all lyrics and titles, and is working on a new album. You can expect the follow-up to Имена на стене (The Names On The Wall) to be out in the spring of 2016. So far, no other details have been revealed but the writing process is complete and the band will enter the studio soon to record the new beast.

Arrayan Path - New Album Cover And More Revealed

Pitch Black Records has just revealed some details regarding the next Arrayan Path album, as well as the album's cover! As previously announced by the band, the new album will be titled Chronicles Of Light and it will be out on February 8th, 2016. This will be Arrayan Path's fifth album and a follow-up to 2013's excellent IV: Stigmata.

Black Star Riders - New Video Online

Black Star Riders have released a lyric video for "Soldierstown." Taken from their newest second album, The Killer Instinct. Black Star Riders are currently on the road in Europe before heading over the UK and Ireland for a tour with Whitesnake and Def Leppard, which kicks off in Dublin on December 6th. Motörhead - Cancel Berlin Show, Guitarist Taken To Hospital

Motörhead have had to cancel a few shows this year and in previous years due to frontman Lemmy's health issues. However, yesterday they canceled their Berlin sold out show because guitarist Phil Campbell was hospitalized. While they didn't give more details about it, they promise an update soon. They are scheduled to play in Hamburg, Germany today.

Candlemass - Share First Taste Of New EP

The legendary Swedish epic doomsters Candlemass will bring us a new EP soon. The four studio tracks featuring Mats Levén on vocals were recorded for a special anniversary release early next year on Napalm Records. The cover artwork for the EP, which can be seen below, was created by Erik Rovanperä. A short clip of some of the sessions for the new EP can be seen below. This also offers fans the opportunity to have a first taste of the new music.

Children Of Bodom - New Gigs Announced

Children Of Bodom have announced a new show in Belgium after their previous show in Brussels was cancelled "due to the current unstable situation despite the best efforts of the venue and the organizer." They have confirmed a show in Kortrijk, Belgium for November 29th instead. Children Of Bodom are joined by Sylosis on this European tour which they decided to continue on despite Lamb Of God's cancellation.

Lord Vicar - New Album On The Way

Finnish doomsters Lord Vicar have announced their new album. It will be called Gates Of Flesh and will be out via The Church Within Records, on Winter/Spring 2016. This will be the band's 3rd full-length album, following Fear No Pain (2008) and Signs Of Osiris (2011). For now, you can take a look at the album artwork which is the painting "Nymphs and Satyr" (1873) by William Adolphe Bouguereau. Lord Vicar has been recording the album since October and you can expect more doom from them soon enough.

Whitesnake - New Video Online

Not so long ago, English hard rock legends Whitesnake released the album The Purple Album, a re-imagination of classic songs from David Coverdale's time as the lead singer for Deep Purple from 1973 to 1976. Shortly after he left, he formed Whitesnake in 1978. The group has now released a new video for the tune "The Gypsy", which you can watch below now.
