Mushroomhead - Vocalist Left The Band

Official statement:

Due to irreconcilable differences with band ownership, effective today vocalist Waylon Reeves has severed all ties with Mushroomhead and Filthy Hands Company. Waylon is thankful for the opportunity Mushroomhead has provided him the last 11 years and will now be concentrating his time and efforts on another project. Thank you to the fans for all your continued loyalty and support throughout the years. There is no further comment at this time.

Scorpion Child - To Release New Single

Texas-based classic rockers Scorpion Child have announced to release a brand-new single on 7" vinyl/digital download on November 6th, 2015 via Nuclear Blast Entertainment. The single will contain the new track, "She Sings, I Kill", as well as another new song, "(Enter The) Twilight Coven", which will be a B-Side that is exclusive to this single. Both tracks will mark the first impression of the band's upcoming, second studio album, which is tentatively scheduled for an early 2016 release.

Pantera - Two Compilations On The Way

Two new compilations are coming from Pantera this year! History Of Hostility, a nine-track Pantera primer that includes some of Pantera's most legendary tracks from five studio albums, will be released on CD and LP on October 30th, just in time for Halloween. The influential metal band disbanded back in 2003, followed by the untimely death of guitar genius Dimebag Darrell in 2004 but the other members are involved in other bands. Their music, however, lives on.

Rush - Stream Song From R40 Live

Canadian prog rock legends Rush have revealed their first offering from the forthcoming R40 Live concert film ? "Roll The Bones", a song from their fourteenth studio album Roll The Bones that was originally released in 1991. This "R40 Live" version of "Roll The Bones" was recorded in the band's hometown of Toronto on June 17th and June 19th during the sold-out shows at the Air Canada Centre on the "R40 Live" tour.

Guns N' Roses - Guitarist Richard Fortus Involved In Motorcycle Accident

While the reunion of the classic band line-up speculation continues almost every week, Guns N' Roses and Dead Daisies guitarist Richard Fortus recently suffered serious injuries after a motorcycle accident. He broke his shoulder blade, collar bone, six ribs, a toe, has a bruised lung, lacerated liver and a concussion but he will make a full recovery. Sadly for Dead Daisies fans, Richard Fortus will miss the band's upcoming tour dates in Australia and New Zealand due to the crash.
