Venom - New Album Title Revealed

British black metal pioneers Venom have set Fallen Angels as the title of their new upcoming album, tentatively slated for an August/September release through Universal Music. The album was mixed with producer Tom Belton at his Londonstudio and will contain 13 new "classics". Tracklist and more updates coming soon!

Dismember - To Replace Gorguts At Germany's Death Fest Open Air Festival

Swedish death metal veterans Dismember will play their first concert since 2008 as the headliners of Death Feast Open Air festival on June 23 in Hünxe, Germany. The band has been added to the event as the replacement for Gorguts, who are forced to cancel all of its previously announced summer festival appearances.

Zonaria - Tour Bassist Becomes Permanent Member

Bassist Max Malmer, who has been filling in for Markus Åkebo (who left the band earlier this year) on the Euro tour with Nile and Melechesh, is now a full-time member of Swedish death/black metal band Zonaria. Reactions on this line-up change can be read here.

Egyptian Metalhead Diary - New Documentary About Egyptian Metal Scene

Directed by Dino Michel and released by Music Gates Company, Egyptian Metalhead Diary is a film documentary about the past and the present of metal music in Egypt. Egyptian Metalhead Diary tell us about the scene from the early nineties to the present, featuring important personalities from Egyptian metal such as Hany Nagy (Loud Studio Alex), Muhammed Saad (author of "Satanists in Egypt"), Ahmed Ekram (Music Gates, Egypt Metal, Rock Station), and musicians from bands such as Scarab, Your Prince Harming, Dark Philosophy, Enraged, etc. You can check the trailer of the documentary here.

Edguy - New Album Title Revealed

German melodic metallers Edguy have set Age Of The Joker as the title of their new album, due in August via Nuclear Blast Records. The album was recorded at Peppermint Park studio (Scorpions, Phil Collins) in Hannover.

Rhapsody Of Fire - New Song Online

"Tornado", a new track from Italian symphonic power metal band Rhapsody Of Fire, has been made available for streaming over at this location. "Tornado" comes off the band's upcoming new album From Chaos To Eternity, which will be released on June 17th, 2011 through Nuclear Blast Records. DragonForce - Announce Special One Off-Show In Los Angeles

DragonForce will return to the US after a two year absence to perform a special one-off intimate show. This special "Up Close and Personal" show will take place at The Troubadour, Santa Monica Blvd, Los Angeles on Tuesday October 18th 2011. Being the only show in western North America this year, tickets will be strictly limited to two per person and only be available through the Troubadour box office and website.
