Municipal Waste - Reveal New Album Title

American crossover thrashers Municipal Waste have announced that they have completed work on their fifth studio album, which will be released next year through Nuclear Blast Records under the title The Fatal Feast.

A message from frontman Tony Foresta reads as follows: "We're calling the record The Fatal Feast, and are expecting it to come out early next year along with a healthy dose of touring. The record is also going to feature some guest spots from John Connelly (guitarist, vocalist for Nuclear Assault), Steve Moore (who plays bass and synthesizers for Zombi), and vocalist Tim Barry (ex-Avail). The Waste is really looking forward to providing you with the soundtrack to the end of the world in 2012. See you there!"

Hoping for longer songs than what they've done before

That's the kind of music they play. Hardcore/crossover is rarely a type of music that uses long songs, and it works well with the style of music. It's like hoping a symphonic metal band won't use synthesizers.

I just hope Foresta regains the ferocity in his voice. Massive Aggressive sounded a bit neutered to me.

I've never been one to care much for vocals. I guess that maybe his vocals got more weak in that album though but it his voice was still gnar. I think MA featured the bands best songwriting though and I kind of liked the more mid driven guitar sound.
